  • Course 2: The Past  Lesson Eight /  Gwers Wyth

Croeso yn ôl i Groeseiriau  Cymraeg  :)

Congratulations / Llongyfarchiadau on reaching this point in the  course . You should, by now, have mastered the basics of the past tense in Welsh.

This week and for the next two we will be concentrating on practice and revision. We will present sample sentences, translation exercises etc in all of the past tenses you have learned so far.

One thing to remember:  stative verbs ( thinking, feeling, believing etc ) these normally take the imperfect  form of the past tense -  Yr Amser Amherffaith   e.g.

    I thought = Ro'n i'n meddwl. ( literally: I was thinking.)

If you are not quite comfortable with this go back to  Email  1 and revise the section on Yr Amser Amherffaith.

    Whatever you do....enjoy / mwynhewch.
