A perfect end to a perfect day...only one team turned up..each of the players deserves a knighthood? What do you think the odds are? Boz
Same here....John Good predicted England 3 - Wales 109 I may award the ball of honor to him for getting the scale of the victory right in spirit. To hell with accuracy....we havent beaten England by a margin like this since the 1920's
It was wonderful. I don't know how good it was technically but, for me, it was the most exciting match I've seen in a long time with the ball really being kept in play. I feel as tired as the England team must feel! I felt we would beat them but it never crossed my mind we'd do so by such a huge margin.
wow Cymry 30 -- Sacsoniaid 3 Amazing. Not only did the Welsh deny the English the Triple Crown, they also took the Six Nations championship from them. Truly a breathtaking experience.

Wales v England at the millennium stadium...I wrote a great story about that one....called chariots on fire millennium edition...it features in volume 3 of my memoirs in the book entitled a stairway to Cefn....the only legitimate time where racism is sport is permissible...four Merthyr boys and a Staffordshire bull terrier go down on the train to the above rugby match ...one of which is a sleeper for the free wales army....hysterical even if I say so myself...especially the scene with the welshman drinking with Kelly jones and the stereophonics in walkabout pub in Cardiff...c'mon Wales...this game is what being welsh is all about....boz
Well, Gaynor, you got your wish, as the English didn't play all that well, so now they have to have some doubts creeping into their mind set... which is good for the home team, methinks.
I hope the English win today v Italy at Twickenham in a fairly easy match... maybe then they'd be a bit overconfident next week? Let's see how today's match goes before making any guesses as to next week's outcome.

I read somewhere that this was England's worst defeat at the hands of the Welsh, the previous record being something like 25-0 in 1905.

Italy can't be so easily dismissed. I wouldn't want England to win easily today.
