Confident?

Wales 23  England 19

What a game to finish the six nations competition. The holy grail.

 Wales 23 England 13

ok, time to bite the bullet.  The English team has not got better over their 4 matches, while Wales has improved.  The English have played only one away game, winning by six against the Irish.  Wales had their worst game whilst at home to start the tournament, and are not likely to forget that, wishing to redeem themselves in front of the home crowd.  So I feel pretty confident that the lads in Red will win, but by 8 points or more?  hmmm...  ok, this is a total guess, but I am throwing all caution to the wind, and saying what I hope it will be:

Wales 28 -- 18 England

England 19 Wales 28 --but I like John's prediction best! lol

Wales 19- England 17

Wales 22 - 15 England

Wales 22 England 12

I'm going with Wales 24 - England 16 ( see reason below )

Final week

  • If England win against Wales, England will win the Championship, Grand Slam and Triple Crown.
  • If England and Wales draw, England wins on championship points (England 9, Wales 7).
  • If Wales win:
  • If the margin is 6 points or fewer, England win on point difference.
  • If the margin is 8 points or more, Wales win on point difference.
  • If the margin is 7 points, each team will have scored the same number of points and the team with the greater number of tries in the tournament wins, otherwise the title is shared - Wales go into the match with 7 tries against England's 5.
  • France, Ireland and Italy are the only teams that can finish bottom with the Wooden Spoon.

No pads, no time outs btwn plays, brutal speed, physicality requiring massive stamina, and spilled blood... totally prehistoric, more akin to war than sport.  And that was just the action in the stands!  hehe
