I'm on my fourth week of this year's flu/plague/lurgy so I decided I would finally try watching "Lucifer" on Netflix, which was recommended to me by several people. It's a lot better than I expected, still a TV show but not bad.
Another plus is that the actor playing the lead character is a native of Cardiff, Tom Ellis.
"Lucifer" is inspired by and takes place after events in the "Sandman" comic by writer Neil Gaiman. Lucifer has decided to stop being the devil and walked off the job in hell to run a nightclub in LA., taking a loyal demon, Mazikeen, daughter of Lilith, with him. Various influences would like him to return to work but he's not interested. Ellis does a good job with his character and his blatant honesty about what he is and his views on human beings make good comedy.
It is bingeworthy, especially if you're sitting around in bed, trying not to cough.
