Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus from Vancouver, Canada, where we are still celebrating a wonderful Olympic experience.I'm sending this as I get ready for our dinner tonight - a catered three-course meal in the Cambrian Hall, home of our Society, with toasts to Canada and Wales. Entertainment will be provided by tenor Jonathan Quick, who is also the Music Director of our Welshmen's Choir. We will all join in the familiar songs, and we will be reading greetings from other societies and friends.March 1st will be a more informal evening in our Red Dragon Pub, in the lower level of the Hall. Cawl Cennin and Welsh Cakes will be served, and there will be enough singing of "hymns and arias" to make Max Boyce proud. We will remember absent friends, and Welsh people everywhere will be in our thoughts.Pob hwyl,Elizabeth

I'm really pleased for being informed about Dr.Karl Jenkins musical works,I just wanted to know what film music has or have been created by him because his name is very familiar to me ,given I'm a movie-addicted.I'm really impressed that he adaptated Stabat Mater because I already have an audio-cd of Stabat Mater by Antonin Dvorak.
