She went on to study at the Royal Welsh Collage of Music and Drama in Cardiff until 2000 when she graduated with a BA degree in acting.
In 1994 she met her long term partner Bradly Freegard at the National Youth Theatre London and on 10th November 2009 she gave birth to their daughter Matilda Myles Freegard
Eve stared in the long running BBC Wales series Belonging, which ran from 2000 until 2008 with a one off special in 2009. She has performed many roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford on Avon and London playing such leading roles as Bianca in Taming of the Shrew and Lavinia for which she received The Sunday Times, Ian Charlson Award in 2004.
In 2008 she played the leading role in Andrew Daviess Emmy Award winning adaptation of the Charles Dickens Novel, Little Dorrit. Eve has been nominated for numerous BAFTA Awards and received the best actress award in 2008. In 2010 she received the best actress award in the prestigious SFX Readers Awards poll and was also crowned for best actress in the 11th Airlock Alpha Portal Awards.
Eve took a supporting role playing the part of a servant girl Gwyneth, in an episode of Dr Who and was spotted by Russell T Davies who went on to create the role of Gwen especially for her in the incredible Torchwood series.
