To coincide with the Left Coast Eisteddfod Portland Central Library will be holding a Welsh Library Month in August. There will be a glass display case in the foyer area which will display works by Welsh Authors that are available from the library together with short reviews. There will be a number of events in the weeks leading up to the Eisteddfod on August the 22nd. Enjoy Welsh language poetry with John Good . John was born in South Wales, into a house where the Welsh language was spoken. Over the past twenty years, he has given bilingual presentations on Welsh culture, sharing poetry, music and literature. Wed Aug 19th 12-1 p.m. ADMISSION FREE.
