For a chance to win this unique work of art please click on the 'donate' button either on the blogpost linked above or on the AmeriCymru homepage here . Every dollar entitles you to one ticket/one chance in the grand prize draw which will take place at our booth at Wordstock in Portland on Sunday October 10th 2010. All proceeds got to support the Left Coast Eisteddfod in this and subsequent years. The winning donor will be notified via email.

Last year's David Western Lovespoon winner Howard Evans very kindly and generously brought the 2009 spoon to NAFOW with him from Montana to show it off and help sell a lot of tickets for this year's spoon drawing. Good luck to everyone, David is doing this year's spoon with artist Laura Jenkins-Gorun and it is completely amazing!

Bravo and thanks, David--both spoons are amazing!BUT--how did I miss meeting Howard at the NAFOW???? Big Bummer!Also, since I bought a bunch of tickets, I am crossing my fingers that one of them will be the lucky one this year!

Not only did I stare at length at this fabulous work of art, but I also contacted David immediately to craft a lovespoon for our first wedding anniversary! Curt and I will start a tradition of commissioning celtic art work (he is Irish) to represent our life together each anniversary. I CANNOT wait to see the design David will propose.
