    Ar gfer cyd-destun / For context:- According to legend the Devil and local giant Jack O'Kent played cards and made bets on this 'table'. The Devil challenged Jack to jump to the Sugarloaf ( background left in the pic above). He made the attempt and the resulting avalanche scar is said to be the impression his  footprint made as he launched himself across the valley.
