Ceri is too young to remember The Water Margin on TV in the UK. I, unfortunately, have it very much impressed on my brain. The actual saying was "Do not despise the snake for having no horns, for who is to say he will not become a dragon?" It did not mention any colour of dragon... so as not to offend no doubt. Perish the thought!
It is actually quite a wise saying. As wise as "Are you only having 2 pints of Tomos Watkin? I'm getting in the next round",

Wise words ..... wish I'd thought of that

Actually, the CC bottle rather negates the idea that the lunches are more healthy! Still, those of you who remember "The Water Margin" might recall that ancient Chinese proverb: "Do not despise the snake for having no horns, for who is to say he might not become a pink dragon?"

This ddraig looks almost entirely cross eyed...are you sure that's a soft drink he's got in his coke bottle?

I bet he is on his way to St. Louis!

I went to the tourist office yesterday and the green dragon seems to have flown. Those who have disparaged the green one should perhaps be careful in case it has flown westward. They should don their old miners' helmets or Welsh bonnets in case the green dragon shows his displeasure from on high, like a seagull!

Yay for Carmarthen! Town of Tolerance!
