I purchased a wooden kayak and would like to personalize it with a name and possibly some inlay. It's a Pygmy Kayak Arctic Tern and glancing in my dictionary I found ysgraell gogledd and ysgraen gogledd as possibilities. I have the gogledd down, but how on god's green valley do you pronounce ysgraen or ysgraell? And what is the difference? Masculine/feminine? Singular/plural? I thought playing off the image of the tern might have great possibilities for some Celtic knotwork as an inlay in the deck. The red kite or other Welsh sea birds may be possibilities also. I toss it out to my Cymrufriends out there.

Welsh pubs in NYC

A little surfing around and I stumbled onto this article about the Long Bow Pub & Pantry in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, http://www.brooklynpaper.com/stories/33/12/33_12_mb_long_bow_pub.html . Not sure if I'll make it down to Bay Ridge on this trip but will certainly keep it in mind. Anybody familiar with it? http://www.longbownyc.com/

We'll be heading back to visit family in New York later this month and wondered if anybody had any good recommendations for a Welsh pint or bite to eat in any of the boroughs.
