hi garry i dont make but one hunt a year now , and if the truth was said i realy dont like the gamey taste of what i was shooting , most of the dear meat we mix with pork and make sausage , and i was giving most of it away , as for birds they banned lead shot and i,m not going to ruin a good browning 12 gauge barrel for a duck limit of five a day , my son snatched my remmington 700 with a redfield scope he dropped a buck eight pointer on his first shot of his first hunt when he was fourteen so he,s hooked , i got a marlin 22cal m1 carbine copy , with a 30 shot clip give me a couple of beers and some tin cans to shoot at and i,m happy

invest in large caliber guns,, the us army is testing a longer barrel with a 6.62 mm cartridge and in the next ten years i can see them returning to a two gun system most likley a 30 06 as for the knife laws well i got my views on that but i would get the racist tag , althought people saw this coming years ago the nation slept , me too , but it looks like these fears are coming home to roost , i,m glad im in america and a gun owner , although this statement will raise a few hackles dave

Ha , Big Dave,You sure you never worked in intelligence or counter espionage? You got me to a tee butt!!The Northwest frontier eh, funny to think how many Welshman over the last coupla centuries have folllowed the Kipling trail up that Kybher pass and how ironic that 'Carry on up the Kybher' was filmed in Snowdonia one Summer in the early 70s. They stayed at the Vic, Llanberis and a few of the old village blades still go on about Mss Windsor's sizeable assetts.Onto another topic; You do realise dont you Dave that men like us would doubtfully be living at our grand ages had we lived over 200 years ago. Some buck would have eventually ran us through over some slight, or unpaid bet or something.Ye, I've always fancied myself as a bit of a swordsman or pistoleer.Guess I was born in the wrong century. The govt goes on about 'blade crime' and shootings over here right now, trouble is these youngsters have no fear of consequence you see. Formalise and legislate it back to duelling I say. Sorted

the first meeting was a little off due to the fact that upstairs at the albert was in use , the second pick was the lounge at the philamonic , a pick that with hindsight was not the best of course there were factors beyond our control , one being sgt maj gary hot from a week in the field , with cammo make up and mud on his boots , ( we now see the need for baby wipes) not only for faces and hands , the locals infact enjoyed this macho stance until the said nco after his sixth pint of ale with out a word , said the next time i go up the kyber from start to finish i dare a man to stop me , well three dezins fell in love with him and two fainted , the following melay ( cant spell frog words) lead to the end of the sub committe s meeting , but a certain nco has now a fan club that he would not like his friend or family members to know about
