Voted yes today. In answer to the question why anyone would vote no,it is a fact that about a third of people living in Wales are not Welsh. Many of these fear a vote to strenghten our government is another step towards independence.Whilst I understand their concerns ,as a WelshmanI say BRING IT ON.My wife is English and has voted yes because she believes it is the right thing for the country in which she lives.

In 1997??? we won...just about I'll bet you a pint at the Eisteddfod that the Yes vote wins by at least 10%.

Agrees with Swansea except for the 'most people' part. The polls are all agreed......it looks like a win this time round

Sorry to butt in as this isn't my country but I don't understand why anyone would vote "no"? Everything I read on this seems to lead to all beneficial result and no detrimental. Why wouldn't you vote "yes"?

This and other reports suggest that the referrendum measure to give the Senedd law-making powers will pass by a two to one majority:- http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2011/03/01/67-will-vote-yes-in-referendum-says-poll-91466-28252921/

Nigel Dix of True Wales is advising Yes campaigners not to begin celebrating yet , however, because:- Back in 1997 there were polls showing a clear lead to the Yes campaign in the final days before the vote, but in the end there was a Yes majority of only 0.6%. The fact that this is the best scenario that he can envisage with which to rally his supporters says a lot more about his confidence than anything else. BUT in a sense he is right...there is no room for complacency. AmeriCymru would like to take this opportunity to urge all it's members and supporters in Wales to turn out and vote 'Yes For Wales' tomorrow. For those of us who live elsewhere....email a friend back home and urge them to do the right thing :)

This Thursday March the 3d 2011 is a Welsh referendum day on more efficient lawmaking powers for the National Assembly of Wales. This is the only chance in a generation to say yes to a Wales that can pass laws in the already devolved areas without having to go begging for permission like vagabonds to the Government in London . It is basic common sense that will save Wales time and money whilst giving us greater efficiency and self respect.

A yes vote would give Wales similar powers to what Scotland and Northern Ireland already have . Wales is one of the only countries in the world that has a devolved Government but still has to ask permission from a different Government in order to make and pass our own laws . Whatever your viewpoints Wales needs a good turnout. We have democracy, we should surely try to make the most of it.

The nearest polling station where you can vote will be printed on the polling card that should have been sent to you through the post. They are usually in your local village/community halls or school and will be open from 7 am to 10 pm. Postal votes have to be in by election day / March the 3d at the latest.

Please pass this on if you can

Mae dydd Iau yma Mawrth y 3ydd 2011 yn ddiwrnod refferendwm ar bwerau mwy effeithiol i Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru. Hwn fydd yr unig gyfle mewn cenhedlaeth i ddeud ie i Lywodraeth gryf i Gymru ,Llywodraeth sydd yn gallu pasio cyfreithiau yn y meysydd sydd wedi cael ei datganoli i Gymru yn barod heb orfod mynd i Lunden i fegio am ganiatad i'w pasio. Yn ogystal a'r pwynt syml o hunan barch, bydde hyn yn safio amser ag arian i Gymru tra'n creu system lot mwy effeithiol o basio deddfau.

Bydde canlyniad ie yn rhoi yr un teip o bwerau i Gymru a'r rhai sydd gan yr Alban a Gogledd Iwerddon . Cymru yw un o'r unig wledydd yn y byd sydd wedi ei ddatganoli ond sydd dal yn gorfod gofyn caniatad Llywodraeth wahanol (Llunden) i basio deddfau sydd yn berthnasol a sbesiffic i ni.

Be bynnag yw eich barn mae angen i gymaint o bobol a phosib i droi allan i fotio . De ni'n ddigon lwcus i gael democratiaeth, dylse ni drio neud yn fawr ohono fo . Bydd yr holl lefydd pledleisio agosa ato chi wedi ei henwi ar y cerdyn y dylsech fod wedi derbyn drwy'r post. Maent i gyd ar agor o 7 y bore tan 10 y nos. Mae unryw bleidlais drwyr post angen bod mewn erbyn diwrnod etholiad / Mawrth y 3ydd ar y hwyraf.
