Remember that saying about people who THINK they can sing, but the Welsh KNOW they can. Bonnie and the back up handsome young guys prove this. This is a great video and Bonnie sounds just as great in 2009 as in 1983, Renee Zigrossi

She can belt it out, can she not? Beautiful voice... and how about the "back-up" vocalists?! Looks to me like it was a great show.

She still has that gravel in the throat and that Wagnerian quaver that made her famous. It was, and is, a good song even if the video, like all MTV videos circa 1983, looks dated nowadays (I just watched the original on YouTube...over 5 million views). I never thought of staging TEotH with a male voice choir, but it works. Only Men Aloud sound so good I'll have to find some more of their stuff! One other thing: anything that Tori Amos covers has go to be great.

I like that! To be honest, I never liked the original until after about 4 or 5 pints but it's better with the choir, bigger and does it justice, sets her off and makes her sound bigger even.

I do hope it's obvious the word "ersion" in my last post should read "version".

What a powerful voice this woman has - it's no wonder the original made "rock legend" - and this ersion is even better. What a talent!

There is a must-see video of Total Eclipse on Youtube called "Total Eclipse of the Heart: Literal Video Version." It's a hysterical interpretation of the production of the video, which you get to wee and hear. Thanks for the update, she still sounds great. http://www.thedailytube.com/video/18199/total-eclipse-of-the-heart-literal-version?utm_campaign=20090601&ut
