In the wake of the recent " Western Mail " article about this site other Welsh media have started to take an interest in us. Two radio interviews will be broadcast next week..The BBC are interviewing Hugh Roberts ( in Welsh ) at approximately 5 a.m. on Monday morning. The interview will be broadcast on the "Jonesy" show on Radio Cymru. It will be a live broadcast. At 8 a.m. also on Monday morning, they will be calling us and pre-recording an interview for the "Roy Noble" show on Radio Wales. They havent told us yet when that will be broadcast. We are assuming some time next week. We will update this blog as soon as we have any further information..

Same here Michael......In the school I went to back in the 70's they taught Latin but no Welsh. It didnt occur to me till I became an adult that I had been deprived of a vital part of my heritage.I'm doing what I can to make up for that now. Thankfully the situation as regards the language has changed in recent years but regrettably Welsh history still seems to be overlooked in many syllabuses. Or at least that was the case 7 years ago when I emigrated. Hopefully that state of affairs will change too.

I'm a non-welsh speaking welshman, it doesn't mean that I'm anyless a welshman because I can't speak the Language, it makes me more determined to learn welsh when I joined this site and hear about the people in Oregan learning the language. My grandchildren go to a Welsh speaking school in Brynmawr and can speak it quite well, so would like to learn to speak with them in our native tonge.

Well, done! We have been getting ready for winter and I haven't had the time to browse and comment as much as I would have liked. It is thrilling to see so many people interested in getting to know their own history and in turn learning about world history. Let's hope it leads to peace and understanding as well as improved economic opportunities all around. Thanks, Ceri.

Thanks, all, for your kind words and for your superb input and contributions to the site. We do seem to be attracting a bit of attention lately and it's very gratifying to know that there are people who are interested and like the network, and I hope it continues! As to the question of my expectations I had no idea whether the site would be a success or not. I suspected that there was an audience for a site like this and knew that I would thoroughly enjoy attempting to build it. In the future I just want to make it better...bigger as well....but mostly better.
