Jonathon Nicholas is a member of the editorial board of the local Portland Newspaper, the Oregonian. Previously he was a columnist for same paper.
Given the weather we have had in Wales this "summer," it is especially unusual to see anyone with a Welsh connection who is not wearing waterproof clothes....
If I remember rightly, an ex head boy from my old school, Cyfarthfa, Merthyr Tydfil is active in the business and social life of Portland; I'm sure I read an article written by him not so long ago. His name is Jonathan Nicholas. His comments weren't very complimentary to Merthyr.
