Two months after being selected at the Hay Festival as the Oxfam Emerging Writer of the Year for her first novel in English, Twenty Thousand Saints, Fflur Dafydd has had yet another feather in her bow by being chosen to participate in the Iowa International Writing Program at Iowa University, the US' premier centre for creative writing, which was established in 1967.
