Back from Scranton :)
It was a great weekend and we have all sorts of material and reports to upload. But first, decompression. I am not the world's keenest traveller and although the journey went smoothly I am postponing any further activities till tomorrow morning.
Special thanks though, to new AmeriCymru member Michael Hill whose help with the AC stall in the marketplace was invaluable and also hugely entertaining. I'm hoping he's not going to come on here and post any details about my unique and cutting edge marketplace cash management system.

I think Taff Independent Trading would be fine so long as the sign on the side of the van reads 'New York, Paris and Pontlottyn'
Just wondering if "Trotters Independent Trading" could be adapted to "Taff Independent Trading" ?
could keep the initials the same too !

My French teacher at school had a bubble car. Pauvre Monsieur Carter! Some of you may have noticed the appearance of "Delboy" and "Rodney" at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games and wondered what the heck that was about. As you have seen in Ceri's post, they dressed as Batman and Robin to go to what they thought was a fancy dress party but turned out to be a wake. On the way, they saved a local councillor from some yobs - one of the funniest episodes. Also in Ceri's post, you might notice a blow-up doll in the back of the van; another hilarious episode. I recommend the chandelier episode too. This time next year, we'll be millionaires.
The AmeriCymru Supply Vehicle ( aka Trotters Independent Trading ) arriving at Scranton NAFOW 2012. Delboy and Rodney were at the Hilton bar at the time this photo was taken

Much more to come and all these topics and more. Meanwhile ....huge amount of material to prepare and up load to the site. Fascinating new novel by Trilby Busch about the the 1892 Homestead Strike to review ( followed by interview with the author ). ALSO major new novel from Chris Keil ( his finest yet ), review copy arrived while we were away. ALSO live interviews with Eilir Owen Griffiths, Gwenno Dafydd and Dafydd Iwan. AND a photographic record of our visit to Centralia on our way back to Harrisburg for the return flight ( we checked in with 3 minutes to spare ). It was a helluva week.....loads of goodies to come
@SJ I think we took the 'uniqueness' to a whole new level this year. Basically I was operating with a whole pocketfull of crumpled and scrunched 5's, 10''s and 20's. ( very few ones ). The challenge was to make change before Michaels copy of the Benny hill theme tune finished playing on his mobile phone. I think I got lucky once. Either way everyone had a blydi good larf
The free tshirt is in the mail along with the fire damaged smoke alarm and the musical toaster..
p.s. you are hired as barrow boy.... errrr I mean Senior Sales Assistant for Toronto/Minneapolis or both BUT we might need to work on some new Rolf Harris/Dylan Thomas routines
Great weekend...a thousand diolchs for all your help!
let's just say, you have one hell of a cash storage system, but the retrieval system sucks !
I had a great time, I hope I didn't annoy or bore you too badly.
oh, and the free t shirt ??
