Am Y Tro - For Now, For A Time, For The Time Being, In The Meantime


  • am y tro - for now, for a time, for the time being, in the meantime

    sample sentence:

    Byddwn ni'n gadael y cwch yma am y tro .*

    We'll leave the boat here for now.

    * "For now' translates, literally, in Welsh as 'am nawr'. 'Am y tro' is more colloquial but means essentially the same thing.
