    N.B.   Not to be confused with i bawb which means "to everyone" e.g. Nadolig llawen i bawb - Merry Christmas to everyone. Pawb is used when speaking about people and gyd is more commonly used when speaking about things. It should be remembered, however, that gyd can be used of people depending upon the part of the phrase or sentence which they constitute.
