I'm very nervous, to be honest. I've put a lot of time and effort into planning the tour and competition, but I could have done with another week or two. My second book launches 29th May. I'm an Indie author. I did have the offer of a publishing deal with Dinefwr press, but it didn't work out. Still, I have full control of my destiny at the moment. Apart from being an Author, I'm a publisher, editor, publiscist, promoter and video director. Unfortunately, none of these roles currently pay the bills. So by day I venture forth into the towns and valleys of South Wales and collect blood! ..... I'm a nurse working for the Welsh Blood Service.
I have a blog tour running from 15th May until end of June. There will be ten questions relating to myself and my books, with the answers to be found in the books, guest posts or interviews during the tour.
My next blog post will give more information, including the tour schedule and how to enter, etc.
Hi Ceri, you're welcome. I hope the photos are of interest. Morlais Castle was built in the 13th century by Gilbert De Clare, who also built Caerphilly Castle. I don't think he did all the work himself though!
Morlais was never completed and sadly very little is left now. I live less than two miles away and this was the first time I've taken Jonathan there. We had a great day exploring the ruins and the surrounding caves, retracing the steps I first took with my late father 40 years ago.
I used the site to help with the discription of the fictional Castell y Mynydd, which features in my novels.
Diolch for posting Richard....I was trying to guess the location while you were posting ( didn't get it right ). A page omn Morlais Castle for anyone interested in its history;- Morlais Castle
I hope so, and sweat and tears! If so, I should be loaded!
Theres money in blood
