Janet,
Thanks for your kind comments. Feedback is really important and much appreciated.
Philip,
I can relate to Billy and his feelings towards the Matron. I know at one time there was a women who worked at the home that the boys did not especially like. Like my brother John said ever since that incident he does not like women in authority. The other boys has their opinions about her too. She did not last long at the home. The other workers wanted to quite because of her.
I love how you developed Billy's mind and his imagination. Just like a boy of his age. When Molly received the news of her Glyn's passing I felt such such sadness in my heart, I wanted to cry for her.
I could see and feel the city awaking in the morning mist as made his way to work. And the explosion and the trouble that surrounds a family during the mining days.
Very well written Philip, I enjoyed it very much.
You could send me a comment as a message and I'll include it on my blog. Thanks Janet.
Phil, where can I comment on the chapter?
Philip,
