summertime is a female blues showcase , the last female to use this as a showcase was janis joplin , and to be the woman you have to beat the woman , very nice thin voice but to try a classic tour de force with a thin voice, shows her handlers lack of musical taste , more life in a week old bottle of piss i think the term is , it just does not stand up ,its a negro spirtual , not a art school fart in a bottle

This is Jeannie Gentry..a great Welsh singer. I am producing an CD of Welsh songs with Jeannie and I would love to hear from any Harpists or Pianists who may like to contribute their talents in an online production.
