The Elves of Portland send Merry Christmas greetings to Americymru members. They were here briefly. Creator Paul, my mate, was unaware they would disappear never to be seen again as he offered them to his friends. The elves were just clay and felt stiff and cool in his hand. Spirits were at play within though and couldn't be seen by human eyes. When their silly faces appeared as he molded their forms, Paul sensed a sudden burst of happiness, an unusual feeling for him. I noticed when the first elf disappeared. My favorite. Gone with a friend. The other elves clustered together under green fir boughs waiting, knowing they would soon be gone. Their spirits zipped through the room, racing time, compressing space, bleeding joy before it was too late! When the last elf was gone, I knew the surfiet of spirits would last. Through time. Through space. Stocking our holiday with happiness. Now they share that with you (at least the last two once here).
