Hello, Kitty - that's fantastic and I'm passing your contact info on to the Tin Shed Experience people, I'm sure they'll be very happy to hear this and I bet you have fantastic stories! I would advise taking your phone number off now, though, so it's not up for anyone and everyone on the internet to find - if you have trouble, let me or Ceri Shaw know and we'll be happy to help you.

I am the friend Les Smith mentioned and would be glad to share anything about my husband who served with the 109th Infantry throughout the war and following the war in the Pennsylvania National Guard for a total of 35 years. He started out as a Private and retired as a Lt. Colonel. I met him when he was stationed in my hometown of Port Talbot, S. Wales. We were married there after VE day and I came to this country when transportation was available in March 1946. His name was David Jenkins and he died in 1988. I was re-married five years later and my name is now Purosky (Olga K.) The K stands for the name I use which is Kitty.
My maiden name was Ace. Phone #
