They've been growing for over forty years and now their being harvested by the Forestry Commission. They did this in Cwmparc but it was they soon discovered that it was the trees that were holding the ground together. So they stopped here. But it's going on all over the valleys and the results look awful. Mind you the valleys were covered in deciduous trees before the industrial revolution just like the background in Tylecoch. That's my kind of forest.
