A Peak Above
The summit of Tryfan, one of North Wales most formidable, craggiest and indeed treacherous peaks, rises above the apparently safe rounded slopes in the foreground. The river line leading up to the top of the soft looking hilltop would take you straight over a sheer 1000ft drop to the deep pass on the far side. Welsh hills may not be gigantic, but they are deadly to the unwary.
