Hello Ceri

Sorry I can't be there with you this evening but I would like to thank everyone for attending the talk tonight. It is very flattering to think that there are other people interested in the story of Arthur Owens. My hope is that after all these years since World War two there can now be a proper recognition of his contribution. He was no angel and his motives are at times unclear but much that has been written before either brushed over Owens or repeated myths and inaccuracies that gave an incomplete picture of interesting period in the early years of the war.

I hope that you enjoy the evening and if there are any questions that Ceri can't answer on the night (although that is unlikely) then please feel free to contact me. I would especially like to thank Ceri for organising the event and for all the support he has given my book on the other side of the pond.
