Emigrants from the port of Cardigan

I have been living in Cardigan for more than 12 years and I am getting caught up in the history of the town. I am planning a project to document the maritime history and am interested in making contact with any descendants of people who emigrated from here in previous centuries. Is anyone out there looking for their roots in the Cardigan area?
