Chill, people! But Christopher has a point that a "petition" is not what you're looking for or talking about. Who would you petition and for what? What you're really talking about is the same way these things are always really done: form a non-profit, fundraise, hire a PROFESSIONAL archaelogist (assuming that you're excavating the stone forts) to run the project - and by this I mean someone who's done this before and knows what he/she is doing and who will research to find out what the true data is, not to prove that the Madoc stories are true. Someone who can plan and execute this kind of a research project, find the right people to do it and properly evaluate data. A grant writer(s) would be needed to research grant opportunities and write proper grant requests and a development director to raise funds. That's how this kind of thing, like the Jamestown excavation or the Kon-Tiki project, is done.

HI Ken, I shall only say a few words upon this subjectIF THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE,ACADEMICALLY, SPRITUALLY, ARCHEALOGICALLY, POLITICALLY, AND IF ANYONONE IS HIDING BEHIND A FEW THEORIES which are academic, and maybe there is some forensic eveidence somewhere. Tell the TRUTH substianted by PROOF I would challenge academiea to ANSWER THE QUESTION but with academic, forensic, and oral (by word of mouth, gentlemen and ladies). give an argument which is supported on both sides or the three sides of forensic, spritual, traditions, documented proof. What about the protraits of Caitlen! What about the only surviving oral testimonies from the Welsh. What about Welsh input.? What about Native American InputI really would like to hear something from someone on this theory. Not just hearsay but a poastive investigation of this theme. LADIES & GENTLEMEN the discourse is open Best Bee

Hello Ken Lonewofe, how are you? I hope very well. If the establishment would only investage the Mounds positively. That would be on step down the avenue. the other would be a more realistic view of Welsh shipping of the time. I agree thoroughly with you my friend that the original ships which transported them across the water must have been shallow draft and must have been suitable for the transportation of animals, of craftsemen such as blacksith. Seed for harvest? This is one I know nothing about. But as to the actual design of them, which must have been in origin Viking, there appears to be no recorded design of welsh shipping (only the coracle) that I can find which would make them distinctively Celtic. I shall send you an email Ken. if any one knows anything of this aspect I would be pleased. As far as the DNA is concerned your peoples are very reticent on this aspect. But would it not be a wonderful contribution to solving the Enigma. We are all cousins anyway. Love and Peace and Blessings to you my friend BEE

Hi there everyone, does anyone out there know anything about Welsh seafairing during the period just before and just after 1170 when Madoc is purported to have set sail. I read some vague references that there was still a Viking influence on shipping of the time. I have contacted the National Library at Aberystwyth on this be they also draw a blank. It is not known the exact style of ship used to sail "to the West". The ships originally must have had a shallow draft to originally use the rivers for exploration portage being used when thrivers were not navigable eg., waterfalls - (Desoto Falls). This aspect of the Enigma fascinates me. Any suggestions. Best....................... Bee
