was a spectrum 48K programmer myself -and used to lust after the extra sound quality form the C64 -
loved the clip - oh - makes me want to get the old machine out and play those wonderful games of times gone by - with the 23 minute load from the C60 tape.....
Ah yes - good times ... I think....

No, they don't mean separate things. It's true that the locally-born staff (and the forelock-tugging quaint villagers) should have Yorkshire accents. To be honest I haven't watched it for so long that I don't remember how any of them speak. The main reason I stopped watching it was because of the anachronisms.

You know, the entire first season of DA I thought Lord Carnarvon's castle was in the Southwest of England near Wales or Cornwall. I was quite surprised when I later learned that Downton Abbey was supposed to be near York. Wouldn't the serving staff have a Yorkshire accent? Or does York and Yorkshire mean separate things?

I'd like to think that whenever someone utters an anachronism in DA (Computer Game), virtual reality masked men with kalashnikovs burst through the french windows and splatter the culprit against the walls!

This is probably not for you unless you remember what a 6510 CPU is (Commodore 64):

LONG LIVE THE C=64!
