Gorwedd - To Lie Down



    Dwi'n gorwedd - I am lying down

    Wyt ti'n gorwedd - You are lying down (familiar)

    Mae e'n gorwedd / Mae hi'n gorwedd - He / She is lying down

    Dyn ni'n gorwedd - We are lying down

    Dych chi'n gorwedd - You (plural) are lying down (also singular formal)

    Maen nhw'n gorwedd - They are lying down




    Dwi ddim yn gorwedd - I am not lying down

    Dwyt ti ddim yn gorwedd - You are not lying down (familiar)

    Dydy e ddim yn gorwedd / Dydy hi ddim yn gorwedd - He / She is not lying down

    Dyn ni ddim yn gorwedd - We are not lying down

    N.B. 'Wyt ti' is the familiar form of the 2nd person and should be used only when addressing close friends, family members and animals. 'Dych chi' is the polite form and should be used in all other instances.
