Pro Arte Chorale celebrates its 45th Anniversary Season with a gala performance of Verdi's Requiem with the Pro Arte Chorale, the Liverpool Welsh Choral and Westfield Symphony Orchestra on Friday, May, 29, 2009 at 8 pm at the West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, NJ .Last May, Pro Arte Chorale embarked on a journey across the ocean to Liverpool, England with music director, David Crone to join forces with the Liverpool Welsh Chorale (LWC) in a performance of American and British works in a concert entitled Voices Across the Ocean . Now, LWC will serve as British ambassadors for their country on American soil, under the direction of Keith Orrell in a joint concert with Pro Arte in a performance of Verdi's Requiem, which will be conducted by countryman, David Wroe, music director of the Westfield Symphony Orchestra. This is concert is the event of the season and tickets are certain to sell out quickly!
