BROOKLYN CHILDREN’S MUSEUM celebrates annual FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS from December 26-31 with a special film screening of A Child’s Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas. Presented by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Set to take place in the Commons Theatre, this brand-new animated 30-minute film version of A Child’s Christmas in Wales is based on the original poem by one of the world’s greatest English-language poets: Dylan Thomas. The film is voiced by Brothers & Sisters star Matthew Rhys.
A Child’s Christmas in Wales takes you through the delightful journey of young Dylan Thomas’ perspective of Christmas day from dawn to dusk.
Screen dates at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum:
Sunday, December 21st at 1:30pm and 3pm (with special guest Paul Chibeba from Welsh Tourism Organization, Visit Wales, available for Q&A);
Friday December 26th at 2:30pm;
Saturday December 27th at 2:30pm;
Monday December 29th at 2:30pm;
Wednesday December 31st at 2:30pm.
Please call 718-735-4400 for more information on Festival of Lights festivities. Admission to the museum is $7.50 per person. There is no additional charge to watch the film.
