I kind of prefer this version, although the Morriston Orpheus boys did a BEAUTIFUL job as well.. I like the prelude to this one (or the coda, or whatever its called).. It sounds like the wind blowing through a deep valley on an autumn evening...
The lovely traditional Welsh classic, and my ALL TIME FAVORITE by Joseph Parry of Merthyr Tydfil (where the Osmond family came from too).. MYFANWY.Donnie sings a version of this in another clip I posted.. LOVELY! But in my view, this is the way "Myfanwy" was MEANT to be sung-- by an all MVC (Male Voice Choir).. These fellows are from Trelawnyd, Flint.. I'm a bit of a traditionalist that way..
