Grahame Davies, one of the most significant literary voices in Wales and the director of online media for the BBC in Cardiff, will make several appearances in northeastern Pennsylvania this fall, including a free public reading in Scranton on Friday, October 23 at 7:30 pm. The reading, sponsored by Mulberry Poets & Writers, and the Saint David's Society of Lackawanna County takes place at the Scranton Cultural Center, 420 North Washington Avenue. He will be introduced by two writers with strong connections to the anthracite region: Karen Blomain of Scranton and Edward Moran, a native of Wilkes-Barre.
