(Pronounced KIMREE). Every year in the month of September, the Scottish American Society of the Treasure Valley hosts the Celtic Festival, which includes music, athletics, and family fun. The weekend kicks off with the Ceilidh (Kaylee) on Friday night, where everyone relaxes and has fun. Musical groups and internationally respected bands along with locally beloved bands. Local dance organizations provide demonstrations throughout the day. Pipers from all over Idaho come to compete in the Piper’s Competition. We have field events and other games for the kids! Vendor and Clan booths provide opportunities for shopping and learning. Professional and amateur atheletes compete in the Idaho State Scottish American Athletic Championship. Come and have fun while learning more about the Celtic culture.
