Janet, your resemblance to your mother is amazing! She remains forever young.

My birth mother - Mary Margaret Morris-Lener. It was here decision in June of 1957 to have my twin brother, John and I placed in The Children's Home. She passed away a few days later. I felt she loved me very much to have given me up to a much better life then she could have given me. I thank her for that from the bottom of my heart. Her and my adopted parents prayers were answered. She had it in the records she wanted us to have a good life with a good family. As you can see I look exactly like her.

Thank you Gaynor & Harold, it certainly was an exceptional children's home and I have connected many ones that were in the home with me with their families. Yes I was adopted into a very loving family. I felt God had his hand on me guiding me into a loving home. Since I learned so much about my biological family. There are 7 other siblings I knew nothing about. I will post photos too. It has been an awesome journey to say the least.

It sounds as though that children's home was exceptional; you were fortunate to go there and to have a wonderful adoptive family.
