No I didn't know that The Carpenters was gone. I used to live much further down closer to town. More or less opposite the Royal Oak in fact. Thank god that is still standing .
They're all nice houses along there . Did you know the Carpenters has been demolished and there's a Sainsbury's there instead? I'd have thought it would be a listed building! I like to visit Rumney Hill Gardens - a little oasis for E. Cardiff.
