Wow Jack! I didn't know you were there! We met two families there from Patagonia. It was kind of funny because we were speaking to each other in a mixture of English, Welsh and Spanish. We also visited the pub set up by the ChcagoTafia so we may have seen you there.
This brought a tear (or two) to me eye... thanks for the music.
We took these clips in the hotel lobby at the 2008 North American Festival of Wales - 2008 Gwyl Gymreig Gogledd America in Chicago. Each night after the evening sessions were done several hundred attendees would gather in the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel, Chicago-Oakbrook, and sing impromptu between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and Midnight. It was interesting to see many of the hotel's other guests watching the informal gathering with great interest. The festival was held 28-31 August, 2008 and next year it will be in Pittsburg, PA, USA.
