Over The Shoulder
Sitting on that craggy mountain peak in this modern age, is joy, wonder, escape, meditative, relaxing and simply awe inspiring. I also know that in years gone by, thousands of years, our tribal ancestors would have walked these hills and used these hill tops, but would they have simply relaxed in their splendour, or would they indeed have always been keeping a watchful eye over their shoulder for marauders, invaders or enemy tribes. We assume they would simply have sat and enjoyed a sunset, but surely it couldn't have been as relaxing for them as it is for us now, could it ?
