Brewing Storm at the High Peak
After a bitterly cold walk in gale force winds along an exposed mountain ridge, where genuine fear and a race against daylight was essential, I didn't take any pictures until we were safely back at the dark lake, but this shot looking back at a briefly exposed ridge conveys some of the elements we dealt with. Awesome nerve-wracking walk.
