TOP 10 HARDEST WELSHMEN

General Discussions ( Anything Goes )

Naturally, Calzaghe's record is impressive 46-0. Living in Florida, I have enjoyed taking money off fans of Lacey and Roy Jones in local bars when his fights were televised. For overall boxing hardness, my money would go on "Peerless" Jim Driscoll . 77 fights 58 wins only three losses - throw in a disqualification for headbutting and the 'fact' that no opponent ever put him on the canvas and you have a portrait of hardness. You could also make a case for Tommy Farr who went the distance with Joe Louis. Louis, one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, had knocked out 8 of his last 9 opponents and proceeded to knock out his next 7, but was unable to do the same to Farr.

This is personally disturbing to me as Bronson's real name is Michael Peterson, which is also my Dad's name - no relation. On reading the wiki Bronson claims that he has been portrayed as dangerous because he retaliates to prison brutality but others say he is not as dangerous as his media hype. Does that not disqualify him from the hard man poll, since he denies his reputation?

Hollywood and Owain Glyndwr?

Promoting Wales in the USA

There is already a well developed script in the works for a feature film - not to discourage you from developing your own script but it is to be shot in Wales with an international cast and director (Clint Eastwood was the last talked about one). Perhaps you could get involved in the project? http://owainglyndwrmovie.com/index.html
