The 8th Celtic Festival of Wales takes place on 26th-29th March, in Porthcawl, South Wales, sponsored by The Felinfoel Brewery and Capital Region Tourism with support from Bridgend CBC.
A weekend packed with concerts, dances and sessions from all the Celtic countries, plus a Celtic Craft Fair and "Parade of the Celts" through Porthcawl Town Centre.
Headline artists are the Red Hot Chilli Pipers from Scotland(26th) with Mabon(28th) heading up the Welsh contingent. Also performing from Wales are new young favourite Calan, Gwyneth Glyn, Brigyn, Allan Yn y Fan, Harriet Earris Trio, Triban and Dawnswyr Penyfai & Tawerin.
Other artists include Ireland's Ril na Ri, Colum Regan, Gerry Nash & One String Loose, Scotland's City of Newcastle Pipers, The Midden, harpist Rachel Hair with gaelic singer Joy Dunlop. Gwelloc'h ferry in from Brittany and and amazing guitarist Pete Berryman drives up from Cornwall. Isle of Man send over a strong line-up of The Mollag Band, Perree Bane and The Reeling Stones(!!).
