Expose' of Swansea Film Festival
Swansea Film Festival is coming under attack from all quarters - and quite rightly so - Check out the comments left on the Youtube Video "Looking For An Audience"
I should point out that had we gone ahead with it, we would have spent considerable amounts of time and money publicizing the event. We would have considered that to be our main organizational role. Indeed promoting Wales and Welsh artists is our main raison d'etre.
No way would we have contemplated allowing film-makers to drum up their own audiences or go watch each others films to make the numbers up!
You had a near miss there - Amritsa is getting such a lashing from the people in the Arts now, who know how disgraceful and shoddy this company is -

Many thanks for posting. The comments are interesting and somewhat disturbing. AmeriCymru was approached some time ago by Binda Singh to run a film festival in Portland USA along the same lines as the Swansea Film Fest. For various reasons the project did not proceed. .
