Hello all,
The World Lacrosse Championships, held every four years, will take place in July in Manchester, England. The Wales Senior Men's team will be one of 30 nations competing in what will be the largest lacrosse event in history.
The Welsh Lacrosse Association (WLA) receives little funding from government or sports governing agencies. As a result, eachplayer has been required to pay a minimum of 1,000 GBP in order to cover their partifipation in this historic event. However, funding is still lacking and the WLA needs your help.
Please read the attached letter fromGordon Shumack, the WLA president, regarding this endeavor and his request for help.
Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me, glm2nd@att.net.
Thanks,
George McKay
