My Dad turned 20 and a bit today (April 2nd). They are close to Aberaeron today and are looking fit and happy!! My Dad is loving all the encouragement and comments on his blog (first time blogging too!). He is nearing his birthplace of Aberystwyth, where he will be truly coming home. He also spent a considerable time in Borth.

I remember walking on the street of Borth with my Dad, when I was 11 maybe? An elderly woman stopped us and said "Well, little David Matthews". It turns out it was his old teacher, and she still recognised him after 30-some years?

They are meeting lots of people, check the site, it's possible that you might know some of them!

Thanks for your support.

Proud daughter, Suzanne

Amazing.

Hello!!

My parents are currently walking the 1400kms of the Wales Coast Path. My dad is originally from the Borth area, but he moved to Canada. My parents are retired and are combining their love of adventure andhiking with raising funds for Cancer research.

They would love to hear from people all over. They are taking pictures and blogging:
