You are all probably aware that there is a very acceptable Malt Whisky, alongScotslines, distilled at the villagePenderyn, which is near Merthyr and in the County Lines of Brecon? There's also a Brecon Gin produced there which is equally notable.

It's worth a dig. You may discover that the Welsh Whiskey makers were driven out of Wales and that this factor was one of the original platforms for the Tennessee andKentuckyWhiskey industries ...
