I lived in Wales for 20 years, with a 3-year break in the middle. Studied and lived in Lampeter from 1988-1994. Moved to Bala in 1994 until 1997. Had a few years in London before returning to Bala from 2001-2011. Though I was born in Liverpool, I think of Wales, and Bala in particular, as home.

We're heading back for a visit in March. Can't wait. It will be the first time our son gets to meet his relatives in Wales.
