Press Release: The Final Punchline

By Daniel lyddon, 2011-01-26

FILM'S A GO-GO THANKS TO INDIEGOGO

A UK production company has adopted an American approach to raising money for its new
short film. Seraphim Pictures of South Wales, UK has begun a crowdfunding campaign that
invites people from all over the world to donate small amounts of money to the budget of its
short film The Final Punchline . In return the company is offering rewards varying from screen
credits to set visits and premiere invites at http://www.indiegogo.com/punchline .

The Final Punchline is the story of Jason Rees, a twentysomething stand-up comedian who
develops a terminal brain tumour and turns his back on conventional treatment. They say that
laughter is the best medicine, and for Jason this could be the case. The film provides a voice
for those who choose quality of life over quantity and live as best they can with the time they
have left.

The Final Punchline will be filmed in Cardiff, South Wales at the end of March, with the
majority of cast and crew sourced locally. The campaign is hosted by US crowdfunding
website IndieGoGo and will run alongside traditional methods of private investment and
product placement funding. Company Director James Morgan said Websites and services
such as IndieGoGo are a fantastic resource. It gives up-and-coming filmmakers like us
opportunities that we wouldn't usually have, especially when there is an important story to be
told.

The Final Punchline will make its market debut at the March du Film at the Cannes Film
Festival, running from May 11th to 22nd 2011. The film will be screened at the March's Short
Film Corner, with further screenings intended for the American Film Market (Santa Monica
2011) and European Film Market (Berlin 2012).

paul child, official singer of the WRU, at the millennium stadium, cardiff, wales AmeriCymru is immensely pleased and proud to announce that Paul Child , the man who leads the singing of the national anthem at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff before Six Nations matches and who is known as the "official voice of Welsh rugby" , will be appearing at the West Coast Eisteddfod: Welsh Festival of Arts in LA this year. He will be leading the singing of the anthem and appearing at the Friday night opening concert. For most of our readers Paul will require no introduction but for anyone who is not familiar with the man and his work here is a brief biography from the BBC music site:-

" Best known for his involvement with Welsh rugby, Paul Child is Wales' biggest-selling independent artist.

In 2000, Paul Child self-financed the album Wales Forever as a tribute to David Alexander. Although the cost was just 2,500, it has gone on to become the biggest-selling independently-released album ever in Wales, selling over 100,000 copies around the world.

In 2003, he appeared on the World In Union album alongside fellow Welsh stars Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey to commemorate the Rugby World Cup. His rugby connection has continued with pre-match appearances at the Millennium Stadium. Each time he's sung before the match, Wales have registered a victory.

Released in February 2006, Bread Of Heaven is the official album of the Welsh Rugby Union. "..... more .

USDA found to be poisoning bird populations, causing mass die-offs involving millions of birds http://www.naturalnews.com/031076_USDA_bird_deaths.html from an email i gotDear NaturalNews readers,It's absolutely shocking news: The U.S. Department of Agriculture has publicly admitted it is responsible for the mass poisoning of tens of millions of birds over the last several years. It's all part of the USDA's program called "Bye Bye Blackbird," and we even have the USDA's spreadsheet where they document how many millions of birds (and other animals) they've poisoned to death. This is not a hoax. It's a sick story of government use of taxpayer funds to kill the wildlife: http://www.naturalnews.com/031076_USDA_bird_deaths.html this is sickive read crows about 3 years ago were swooping down to peck people of Chicago a city ive never been to visit but would surly enjoythe usa i think at times is a sick twisted nation
